It was our best stay in iceland.

Everything tbh - we were too tired after a hike to Studlagil. When we entered the property, met Elsa and checked in, I think the energy returned. The hot tub & sauna was a gift to my tired legs. Kitchen to room, everything was designed thoughtfully from a barn to a homestay and well equipped. Jfyi, the shower is common - but very big, spacious and clean. Hence it would not be an issue. If weather is nice and you are lucky, you may get to see some auroras too like us 😊

Great and quiet location. Comfortable for a group 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 WC with 1 shower. Well equipped kitchen and nice comfortable living room to relax before bed. Since it’s part of the ranch, we got greeted with sheep in the morning!

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. This guesthouse was my best stay during the trip. Amazing location, view, amenities and layout. It was a beautiful room. It was better than the fancier/pricier hotels that I stayed in.

Very cute room, the bed is probably the most comfortable bed we slept in on our vacation in Iceland. The room is not huge so don’t bring too much luggage up to the room! The owner is very friendly & is available to help.

When the sun shines in Modrudalur it is beautiful - Clean Wooden Room with contemporary fixtures, good shower, good bed, blackout curtains, great views from the back patio. Arctic fox play, Highland Desert Hike, farm foods and a charming property overall.

Lyngás Guesthouse is located by Route 1 in Egilsstadir, East Iceland. It offers free parking, a shared kitchen and basic rooms with free WiFi. exceptional value for money and very clean with great cooking facilities, no staff on site so that was a little strange but it didn't impact our stay

Set in a peaceful, natural setting, Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir and the local airport. The room was great, in a quiet place not far from our itinerary route. Breakfast was awesome as well. The host gave us a map with the area, told us about the nearby sights and interests, even a nearby hiking route of 4kms. We did it the next morning and it was well worth it.
