Disa was an excellent host! On arrival, she met us and shared information on things to do and where to shop nearby. The apartment was in great condition and very spacious. There is parking available on the driveway or free street parking in front of the house.

All furniture and bed are of high quality, we had a best sleep for the trip here. The lady stayed up late to welcome us after a midnight arrival which made you feel welcome immediately. We learnt a lot about the country and its cities naming root and stuff. Followed her recommendation and love all of them.

Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city centre is 14 km away. This is a hidden gem. Close to Reykjavik but still feels isolated, has beautiful views of the ocean, and large, clean, and comfortable room. Could’ve stayed there for far longer. Highly recommend.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking... Really great location close to cafes, bars and restaurants. Really easy check in and check out. There was access to a kitchen which was really useful. We were also able to leave our bags once we had checked out.

Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings. Location is perfect, also parking for free. Our room was super clean.

Set in a building dating back to 1916, this Reykjavík guest house is within 5 minutes’ walk of the popular Laugavegur shopping street. Both WiFi and private, on-site parking are free. The host was great. Very kind and very flexible, she even let us check in very early and changed the date after we had booked the room for an incorrect date.
