The room is really beautiful and cozy, making you feel like you are living there just as local people. The shared area is very clean as well. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Very cosy and confortable guesthouse, located right in the city center. The room was nice and clean, with a big double bed. The heating system works perfectly, you can adjust the temperature. They also have a common area and kitchen, which was really nice. But if you don’t want to eat at the guesthouse, you have plenty of options, by walking only 10 min. You can park your car in front, which was very convenient for us. We only stayed for 1 night, but we will definitely book it again, for our next visit.

Bathrooms, even shared ones, were very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to port, city center or bus to the airport. You can store your bags before check-in/after check-out. We can highly recomend

Comfortable beds, good pressure and natural sulphur hot showers which made your skin and hair so soft! Quirky seaside location outside of town, nice to wake up to the ocean and finish the day with the rooftop sauna

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking distance from all the best Reykjavik has to offer, whether it’s Museums, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Shopping Streets, Parks, the BSi bus station, Geothermal Swimming pools or Lake Tjörnin, and yet positioned in a quiet area of the center. Everything was wonderful. The location was convenient with easy access to the tour bus stop, the staff were kind, and the place was clean!

The simply decorated rooms at Guesthouse Sunna feature either private or shared bathroom facilities. All have free Wi-Fi, while some have a TV, a fridge, or a tea/coffee maker. All rooms have access to a communal kitchen. Very comfortable and had good facilities (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room). I was able to buy breakfast there even though it wasn’t on my booking originally.
