The apartment was perfect, spacious, clean and very atmospheric. The location was also good, short walk to the supermarket and short drive to the city center.

The staff was friendly and rooms had everything we needed for our short stay. Very clean rooms, bathroom and lounge area, and comfortable bed!

Located in Álftanes, a 15-minute drive from central Reykjavík, Eyvindarholt Guesthouse features bright and modern accommodation with free WiFi, scenic views, as well as Icelandic art and design. Beautifully placed house outside the city but very close to Reykiavik. Apartment was very nicely decorated with a comfortable kitchen. Very spacious, nice views, very clean and comfortable beds. You have to try breakfast - it's deliciuious! Home made warm bread, pancakes or cake, freshly cooked eggs, good quality cheese and ham, jam - everything served sooo nicely 🩷

Disa was great with us! Super friendly. She made us feel like one of her family. Even came with freshly baked home made cake which was delicious. Also we were near many facilities such as coffee shop and grocery.

Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Very cosy and confortable guesthouse, located right in the city center. The room was nice and clean, with a big double bed. The heating system works perfectly, you can adjust the temperature. They also have a common area and kitchen, which was really nice. But if you don’t want to eat at the guesthouse, you have plenty of options, by walking only 10 min. You can park your car in front, which was very convenient for us. We only stayed for 1 night, but we will definitely book it again, for our next visit.

My favorite place to stay in Reykjavik! I spent almost two weeks there and had to keep changing the dates, etc., due to travel conflicts. I was accommodated by the owners immediately and with zero issues. The rooms are super clean, the kitchen is perfect AND there’s a washer & dryer! I barely heard any other guests - everyone was respectful of being quiet at night, etc. I will definitely stay here on my future trips (this was my 6th trip to Iceland). It beats all the overpriced hotels in the area. Perfect location to walk anywhere in the city and a super quick walk to the harbor, restaurants and grocery stores.

Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city centre is 14 km away. Perfect place to see the northern lights. At least for us. Also the room was perfect and modern. Warm and cozy. We loved it!

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking... Spent one night at this property. We showed up late in the night, but they had an easy self-check in process. Room was simple and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and warm. Location was great for getting to see Reykjavik the next morning, starting with Hallgrimskirkja. No complaints!

Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings. Everything went well. Perfect location, very helpful staff, comfortable and cozy room.
