Disa was an excellent host! On arrival, she met us and shared information on things to do and where to shop nearby. The apartment was in great condition and very spacious. There is parking available on the driveway or free street parking in front of the house.

Located in Álftanes, a 15-minute drive from central Reykjavík, Eyvindarholt Guesthouse features bright and modern accommodation with free WiFi, scenic views, as well as Icelandic art and design. This B&B was amazing, everything what’s needed was there: nice kitchenette, separate little room for your suitcases, comfortable bed and overall everything was clean, in style and thought-through! A separate star goes to breakfast - it was delicious! Great food and on both days we had a different breakfast offer🫶 Also, you have a stunning view out of the window and can watch birds and enjoy beautiful sunsets/ sunrises! We’d come back anytime!

All furniture and bed are of high quality, we had a best sleep for the trip here. The lady stayed up late to welcome us after a midnight arrival which made you feel welcome immediately. We learnt a lot about the country and its cities naming root and stuff. Followed her recommendation and love all of them.

Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Location is excellent. Not too far from the city center. And 10 minutes away from a few restaurants as well as grocery stores. There was ample street parking outside the building. Breakfast was sufficient with croissants (freshly baked), bread, cheese, cold cuts, variety of milk, cereal, jam as well as coffee and tea. Room was good sized with required amenities. We had a private bathroom. Ample storage space for bags. Fridge and coffee machine was also present in the room.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking... room was big. very clean. extra heaters available in the room. bed were nicely tidied. kitchen was available to everyone and has lots of free food and beverages (coffee, tea) to offer.

Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings. Nice location, exceptionally clean, good facilities and very friendly staff. Great value for money!
