I had an amazing stay at Freyja Guesthouse in Reykjavík together with my friends and family. The place is super charming, spotless, and right in the heart of the city, which made it easy to explore all the cool spots. Our rooms were cozy and well-decorated, and we loved hanging out in the communal kitchen to cook and chat. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready with great local tips. Overall, Freyja Guesthouse was the perfect home base for our Iceland adventure, and we can’t recommend it enough!

Located in Álftanes, a 15-minute drive from central Reykjavík, Eyvindarholt Guesthouse features bright and modern accommodation with free WiFi, scenic views, as well as Icelandic art and design. Clean, very quiet, beautiful views and little deck, nice walks in either direction and Fabulous breakfast which was so large it became lunch too

Absolutely excellent stay! Although I mostly spent the evenings at Casa Dísa, since I was exploring Iceland during the day, she made sure to provide enough information to help me enjoy the local area and plan my activities. She's also an extremely kind and warm person. My room was spacious and had a view into a beautiful garden. Overall, I found it to be of excellent value.

Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

The host was super kind and allowed me to merge two bookings, as well as move one of my bookings to the actual date I was supposed to arrive (completely my fault, booking a hotel at 4.30am in the morning resulted me booking in the wrong month). I really liked the breakfast spread and how near it was to Hallgrimskirkja and downtown. It was a cosy little attic room and I felt very peaceful (I'm also 5'5" so it was very comfortable for me). I especially LOVE the hairdryer had a diffuser extension.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a washing machine too. Room was really cute, there were enough bathrooms, everything was great! It's also very central and close to bars and restaurants without bringing the main street with the shops.

Casual vibe, large comfortable room, added bonus of kitchen and dining room, clear helpful guidelines. Fantastic location for tour pickups and near Braud bakery.
