This place was great and definitely the cheapest one we had during our 12-day trip in Iceland. It was clean , spacious ,nicely decorated with a view to the lake. Location was very convenient near the golden circle sightseeing. The owners gave us a full bar of Icelandic chocolate as a welcoming gift. Very generous of them. We really hope you keep the price low and the rooms clean and neat in the future!

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Our hosts were delightful. Very helpful. The lounge with microwave and plates etc a real bonus.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

We were warmly welcomed by the host, and her dogs! and her cat! even though we arrived late at night. The place was nice and cozy. Although the bathroom is shared, I didn’t wait any time, and the hot water supply was very good, making a good winter night. I would definitely recommend!

Best guesthouse in Iceland! The whole house was so clean as well as the kitchen and bathrooms. There were enough bathrooms for all the guests and lots of pretty resting areas. It was so great I’d like to visit again The dog that came with the owner in the morning was a cutie!

Entrance to the Secret Lagoon was included into our stay, which wasn’t mentioned while we booked the stay. You can enter it as many times as you wish and stay as long as you like. Facility provided everything required: towels, bathrobes, crocks to enjoy the hot springs. Staff super friendly and helpful. You have everything needed in the kitchen to cook lunch or dinner, including olive oil, salt, sugar, spices etc. Even fresh milk was provided each day. Super nice and sweat!!!
