Everything works well.Gullfoss and Geysir can be reached in ~30min by car.The host gave us welcome Iclandic chocolate, which was a really nice surprise!

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. We had a great stay at the guesthouse on top of the hill. The location is great next to the cross roads of Golden Circle and the road to south coast. The facilities were in really great shape and the rooms were comfy and clean.

Easy check-in, quick wapp response to question. Very new building, so everything still nice and new. Room was of a good size, everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, great shower. Room has outside door which leads onto a patio. Nice views outside of the mountains and also some horses nearby. Very big and clean shared kitchen area, that also includes a sitting area with couches. Great location, very near Gullfoss waterfall. We did not use the kitchen for dinner, only for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. We were the only guests which made for a lovely quiet stay.

I’d recommend this stay for everyone but especially for groups or families since it is a whole house. The kitchen’s equipment was excellent and the bed was really comfortable. It was better than I thought it would be! Definitely will come back for this one!

The host is an amazing person who welcomed us warmly with all information. The location is amazing in the middle of fields, but not too far drive from the main road. We would have stayed even longer here!

These modern, self-catering apartments are located in the village of Hveragerdi, 45 km from Reykjavík. Each offers free Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and access to a shared, furnished garden terrace.... Home away home. Cozy, clean and warm. Very comfortable to stay. Love the firework and concert we encountered in the town festival.
