The guesthouse was located at a perfect location, relatively near akureyri but it felt remote enough, surrounded by mountains, with a small waterfall and farm animals around the area.
The host is very accommodating and friendly and made us feel directly at home. The room itself was quite spacious and felt modern, while the kitchen was very well equipped and cosy!

This is an impeccable guesthouse with wonderful rooms. It is so comfortable and feels like a home. The staff is communicative and excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I really loved that our room had two rooms and a hallway in it. We finally got some space. The way they designed the guesthouse is to maximize comfort of the guests. And it is very clean and well decorated.

My wife, son and myself were very impressed by the hospitality shown by our host, Elisabeth. Her daughter showed us the farm with 600 sheep. She even showed and explained the process of newborn to adult life of sheep 🐑. Breakfast was prepared by Elisabeth with utmost affection. I would highly recommend Guesthouse Baegisa.
