A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjos Café, located in a cowshed 3 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. Dinner based on local produce, such as smoked lamb and trout, is also served here. The restaurant and the close location to the Myvatn Nature Baths, both must go to places! Nice, spacious space, we fitted in the 3 beds with our 2 boys. Lovely.

Really nicely appointed with an enormous kitchen with everything you would need. ( except for a microwave which was surprising) Only 4 rooms so heaps of space.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Bathrooms are shared. Everything was super fine, Elda and her family are lovely and so kind. We really felt at home sipping hot choccolate watching the Northen Lights directly from our window! It's been special and Elda is a special human as well :)
