A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjos Café, located in a cowshed 3 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. Dinner based on local produce, such as smoked lamb and trout, is also served here. Everything! The staff was very kind, the facilites are in excellent conditions, the breakfast was delicious, we definitely recommend to stay here in your Iceland adventure! From all the hotels we stayed in our trip, this was our favorite! We had dinner here and the slow cooked lamb was amazing! And in this spot we saw the best Northern lights! This place will have a place in our heart!

With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. Great location, friendly host Joanna who explained everything on our arrival. Really nicely appointed with an enormous kitchen with everything you would need. ( except for a microwave which was surprising) Only 4 rooms so heaps of space.

At Dimmuborgir Guesthouse, all rooms and cottages feature private bathroom facilities. Private full kitchen facilities are provided in the cottages, while guest rooms have access to a shared kitchen. It was easy to find, the key was waiting for us because we had a late check in. The house was clean and cozy and bigger than we thought with lots of beds for everyone. The breakfast was good and the smoked trout is amazing. I loved that the property had two resident dogs greeting us. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again and recommend the guesthouse to friends and family.
