Just 5 minutes’ drive from Keflavik International Airport, this guest house is a 2-minute walk from the main street, Hafnargata. WiFi and on-site private parking are free for guests. Needed a room to stay the night close to the airport. The room and bathroom was clean, and the owner was really helpful and was able to drive us to the airport early in the morning.

As a solo traveler, having positive interactions with hosts feels important. The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Hosts were very helpful and communicative. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Close to Blue Lagoon and easy to find. Breakfast was great!

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. A delicious home made breakfast that was healthy and tasty. Included a slice of rhubarb pie that is a family recipe from Andi’s mom back in Sweden. They offered slippers to wear around indoors, and sandals to wear outdoors. So much chilled water available in a small fridge. A very clean bathroom and shower with nice amenities. All of that was great, but having pleasant hosts was much needed, unexpected and a delight.

Perfectly located near Keflavik Airport—just a short drive away—and surprisingly serene. The town center is easily walkable, with charming shops, cafés, and restaurants right by the coast. The peaceful coastal setting really added to the relaxing vibe.

The family-run Blue Viking Studios is next to Keflavík Harbour and 3 km from Keflavík International Airport. Free WiFi and parking. The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is within 20 minutes’ drive. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating.

Great all round. there are 5 of us. and it's more then enough. they house is very well equipped. and shop 24 hour is less then 2 mins walk.

Set 5 km from Blue Lagoon, Guesthouse Grund provides accommodation and free WiFi in Grindavík. Some units also have a kitchen equipped with an oven and a microwave. Everything was clean and comfortable to stay. We will recommend this place to everyone. Very closed by Blue Lagoon, volcano for hiking.
