Gorgeous views of the ocean and the mountains. Fantastic accommodations - lovely bedroom, well appointed and well thought out. Really nice public spaces. Good breakfast. Hosts very warm and helpful. The ideal location for photographing the aurora! Mirror like water in foreground, mountains in background, and clear 180 degree view of the sky. Got amazing photos right from their backyard. We will be back. Highly recommended.

The position is excellent in the middle of the town with a wide space where to park the car. The room was clean, cozy and had plenty of space; the same for the living room where you can just sit on the sofa or the armchair and enjoy the view. There are three bathrooms, two of them with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with the host, who promptly gave instructions about the check-in. I highly recommend this place if you're travelling around Snæfellsnes.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. We had privacy but were easily able to access everything we wanted to experience. The views were incredible and we saw the Northern Lights from the deck!

The staff was very helpful and ready to answer all the questions:) kitchen was well equipped, even with filtered coffee and all kinds of dry food left by other travelers. The area was peaceful with beautiful roads around and views. We'll definitely return there! Thank you!

The whole place is neat and tidy and very cozy. There is free parking. I will definitely come back :)
