Our stay at the Guesthouse was excellent, even though it was short. It's a little bit out of the way, BUT the surprise was evev bigger. The owners, Leslie and Craig, have done wonders, and the accommodation is excellent, and the owners are so hospitalitable. Great choice from us 👏👏

The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

Served by a lovely lady who prepared everything for us fresh that morning, a beautifully set table in the open dining space. The food was gorgeous, we loved the berry smoothie. We had a very warm welcome, the bedroom was wonderful, the bed was so comfy and we liked the Soley shampoo and gel in the shower! Such a gorgeous little town to stop in, they gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner. We will definitely be back!

We love the architecture, warm service from Knutur, breakfast, tranquility and so much more. We'll definitely be coming back to Iceland and stay longer in Drangar.

We were there with one other family and really enjoyed interacting with them. The view, kitchen and washing machines were excellent. Check in was efficient and communication with the hosts was easy.

If you're looking for a homestay that goes beyond self check-in & check-out with a personal human touch, Holiday Guesthouse is the cozy stay for you in charming, serene Styykishholmur....also appreciated the Icelandic pronunciation lessons! Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Everything! the host was communicative and so accommodating, allowing us to check in early with the bad weather conditions.
