The owners were very helpful in giving advice about the area. The location is ideal for visiting Matera - a beautiful ancient city although I imagine it might get very crowded in the height of the summer season. Breakfast was excellent.

The location was convenient and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room on the 2nd floor had a great view. E-mail communication was smooth and I received a reply immediately. As for the restaurant reservation, We was able to have a wonderful time because they reserved the seat I wanted with a good view.

Casa Blanca Matera offers accommodation in Matera, at walking distance from the Sassi di Matera area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. WiFi is free throughout. The room was at a exceptional position, just 3mins walking from the Old City. Room was very clean , and minimal decorated. Very clean bathroom , with supplies included. Breakfast super fresh and delicious!

Le Dimore Dell' Idris is situated in the Sassi area of Matera and offers individually furnished rooms with a private entrance and private bathroom with sensory shower. The staff could not have been more helpful in giving recommendations or friendly! Location was perfect. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of variety! I wish we had stayed longer!

Set in a restored Tuff-stone building, Hydria Rooms is a guest house located in Matera, 60 metres from Sasso Barisano. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. From beginning to end the accomodation and service (of Bibiana) was perfect! It started with the very clear and good communication upon arriving. At the reception Bibiana received us very friendly and helpful, explaining us about the accomodation but also about the city, what to do Nd where to go. The room was very clean and everything we hoped for. Beautiful room with a nice big bath and a waterfall shower! “Alexa” the music system was a great bonus, playing whatever music you prefer. During the second day the room was cleaned very well (before cleaning again good communication: whatsapp text if we wanted the room to be cleaned and when). Thanks for the great experience 🙏🏻
