It is also a short 8 minute walk to the center of San Donato, where you will find a few bars to enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning, or aperitivo in the afternoon.

The villa is peacefully nestled in nature, offering breathtaking views of the hills and complete silence – ideal for rest and recharging. The house is full of charm, beautifully decorated with artistic touches, books, and original details that make you feel at home. Everything was clean and well maintained. Thank you, Stefano, for allowing us to experience this wonderful place – even though we didn’t meet in person, we felt warmly welcomed. We would love to come back! Tip: The road to the villa is quite narrow and steep – it’s best to arrive during daylight with a good car.

We received the right information and good advice on where to go for dinner and walks in the surroundings. Breakfast was great with fresh figues directly fromthe tree. We especially enjoyed the extra balcony and the possibility to consume extra drinks - both softdrinks and wine - in the evening. Excellent location on walking distance from central town.

Very friendly staff! Minimum amenities but bed and toilet and very warm shower were all we needed! Easy to drive to from Florence in the rental car. Easy to walk into town and enjoy meals and coffee!

Bed was very comfy , aircon and fan were very welcome after being out in the heat all day . Location was perfect , 100m from the centre of San casciano for restaurants and bars . Coffee machine made lovely drinks , small hob for making breakfast . Great shower in the recently refurbished bathroom . The exposed wooden beams in the ceiling . Really a great place to stay with a great host .
