The owner was super friendly and kept the onsen open late for us when we were out too late. He helped us research restaurants in the area and even gave us ice cream after a hot bath!

The hosts are very kind people who do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Since it is a rural area and there are no supermarkets close by the owner was kind enough to drive us to a nearby city to pick up our dinner. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and a great place to stay with small groups. We also received several drinks and snacks for free. For us this was the perfect way to end a day walking the nakasendo trail. I cannot give any higher recommendations!

Beautiful place, really sweet owners, great facilities including two couples' onsens! A really great breakfast. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

The property offers soundproof units and is situated 31 km from Phoenix Plaza. Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.
