The room so spacious, private onsen was the best experience, all clean, we could use dining room with amazing view and the host super friendly.

They run a small cafe too so can get some decent coffee anytime. The lounge was ghibli themed and cosy with lots of suggestions for food and activities! Dorm room was as expected, lots of room for luggage.

Some people won't like that it's 20 to 30 minutes walk from the train station, but I found walking through the neighborhood streets really great. It''s located directly next door to a large supermarket and a kitchen is also provided so you can self cater. There are also several great local neighborhood restaurants within five to 10 minutes away. The staff are very accommodating. Everything is new and the beds were very comfortable

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 5.4 km from Otsumago. The house is spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and located in a beautiful, silent place outside Magome-juku. A stay there was really relaxing. And I have noticed some people on trail, pasing by the house, and loudly admiring how nice it is. The hosts say they do not offer breakfasts, but it is a kind of a lie! There is absolutely enough food provided, to have a very good breakfast. And talking about the hosts - they are amazing, so helpful and welcoming, like I have never seen before. Their invaluable help and advices allowed us to visit every place in the nearest region that we planned to, despite the unfavorable weather.

Loved every bit of this stay, Yuki & Ken are wonderful and accommodating. Ken is a great cook I loved his meals. They have put attention to detail to every bit of their beautiful accommodation. The bath is amazing - like you have an Onsen. The shared lounge is stunning and cosy, the rooms are lovely and they are just great humans who are easy to connect with. Not to mention they live in an incredibly beautiful part of the world on the Nakasendo. Photos of the accommodation don’t do it justice.

The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed, but what really made our experience special was the hospitality of the owner. They went above and beyond by picking us up from the station when we arrived and even taking us back on our last day, helping with our luggage and giving us a lovely send-off. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Such kindness and care are rare to find – highly recommend staying here!

At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. * Superb view from the common area * tatami mat with normal bed * DIY breakfast with provided bread/eggs/jam was fantastic * Rooms were warm and had enough space for luggage * complimentary ride to the ski slopes + they even offered a ride with our luggage to our following accommodation in Nozawa (would have preferred to stay here if they had availability)
