The place is easy to reach on foot from Magome-juku bus stop, even with a large suitcase, as there's a pavement all the way.

We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

The common spaces have many Ghibli stuff as decoration, so at some point you feel like you are in a friend's home. Staff are so kind and helpful when we need anything. Bunks has curtains so we have privacy at the dormitory. There is free coffee for everyone! This is the second time I get to Takayama and I loved it as the first time and the accommodation was outstanding for me.

It is located 7.9 km from Lake Kawaguchi and provides a shared kitchen. The guest house has parking on-site, a fitness centre and a 24-hour front desk. Our stay at this traditional ryokan was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. Waking up to a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from our window was something we’ll never forget – truly magical. The communal kitchen was a lovely touch, thoughtfully stocked with breakfast essentials, tea, and coffee. We also loved watching wild deer wander by. There are bikes that are free to use and it’s only a 5-10 minute cycle to the nearest 7-eleven. We rented a car and were able to park directly outside. Other guests that we met didn’t have a car enjoyed walking to the nearest bus/ train station. The neighbour is quiet and very safe. What made our stay even more special was the owner. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. His hospitality added such a personal and warm touch to our visit.

At the end of our Japanese adventure we were weighed down with more luggage than when we arrived, and the owner was kind enough to pick us up at the train station by car. The accommodations were beautiful with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were very cozy, ours even had a large TV. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It tends to be busier when there are more guests, but fortunately everyone respects the curfew. The guests very willingly and voluntarily transported us into town the next day, for which we thank them very much. The accommodation was right next to the konbini so a real win.

At the guest house, all units are fitted with a tatami. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Modern, clean facilities. Exceptionally helpful staff! Even though it's a bit of a walk to the main gondola, the staff provided us with a ride every morning. Coming back home for the day it's only a few minutes from the slopes. Would certainly stay here again.

Andy and the staff at Dark Horse are helpful and friendly. The accommodation feels so cozy, it's a home away from home. I stayed in the hostel room and it's very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV in my little space that I could watch Youtube and Netflix on. They provide free transport to Happo-one, Goryu and Sanosaka ski resorts. If you want to go to the other ski resorts, the staff can drop you at Happo Bus Terminal where you can catch the free shuttle bus. Free breakfast is also provided.
