馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou está en Nakatsugawa, a 11 min a pie de Toson Memorial Museum, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Todo! Es perfecto para todo tipo de turista. El personal es muy amable.

熱海温泉 実の別荘 está en Atami, a 19 min a pie de Playa de Atami Sun y a 27 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto. Everything good! The room so spacious, private onsen was the best experience, all clean, we could use dining room with amazing view and the host super friendly.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Staff were great and friendly! They run a small cafe too so can get some decent coffee anytime. The lounge was ghibli themed and cosy with lots of suggestions for food and activities! Dorm room was as expected, lots of room for luggage.

まち宿-machiyard- está en Nakatsugawa, a 6,4 km de Mt. Ena Weston Park, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. I loved everything about it. Some people won't like that it's 20 to 30 minutes walk from the train station, but I found walking through the neighborhood streets really great. It''s located directly next door to a large supermarket and a kitchen is also provided so you can self cater. There are also several great local neighborhood restaurants within five to 10 minutes away. The staff are very accommodating. Everything is new and the beds were very comfortable

峠のお宿 巧の実家 Magome Guest House, Along the Nakasendo Trail se encuentra en el barrio de Magome-juku, en Nakatsugawa, cerca de Magome Observatory. Tiene terraza y lavadora. The house is spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and located in a beautiful, silent place outside Magome-juku. A stay there was really relaxing. And I have noticed some people on trail, pasing by the house, and loudly admiring how nice it is. The hosts say they do not offer breakfasts, but it is a kind of a lie! There is absolutely enough food provided, to have a very good breakfast. And talking about the hosts - they are amazing, so helpful and welcoming, like I have never seen before. Their invaluable help and advices allowed us to visit every place in the nearest region that we planned to, despite the unfavorable weather.

After reading the rave reviews, I booked this stay months in advance to make sure we would not miss the opportunity to meet Ken and Yuki and to stay at their guesthouse boasting modern facilities and balancing comfort and sleek design with traditional Japanese architecture and minimalistic and elegant interior design. At the end of a long day hiking, we were greeted with a big smile as if we'd come home to our family, a feeling that is both priceless and heatwarming. Ken's kind and welcoming nature is only rivalled by Yuki's and her sense of humor. Dinner was as delicious as our breakfast (all guests shamelessly went for seconds and some even thirds taking the lead for a brave lady I shall not name), enjoyed to the sound of Jazz standards in a communal spirit shared with the other guests, all of whom polite and considerate, as if handpicked by the hosts or perhaps instinctively mirroring their behavior. Guests do not have to wait to take a shower because there are three showers, one of which with an additional bathtub, for four rooms. Everything is impeccably clean and organized, making you feel restful instantly. So, do not hesitate to book this guesthouse as you make your way along the Old Nakasendo Road or just take a taxi to Magome and walk a few hundred meters to take photos for your Insta. Whether you fit the former or latter category, you will be treated as a family member by the kindest people we've met during our 3-week stay in Japan. I've already recommended this guesthouse to everyone I know who is planning to visiting Japan.

Wanderlust STAY, que se encuentra a 37 km de Lago Kawaguchi y a 40 km de Parque de atracciones Fuji-Q Highland, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Kofu. Spacious, bright and clean apartment. Nice bathroom with separated toilet. Glimpse of Mt Fuji from the 1st floor apartment window. We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

富士山を眺められる宿 ゲストハウス花水木 está en Nishikatsuracho, a 7,7 km de Parque de atracciones Fuji-Q Highland y a 11 km de Lago Kawaguchi. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed, but what really made our experience special was the hospitality of the owner. They went above and beyond by picking us up from the station when we arrived and even taking us back on our last day, helping with our luggage and giving us a lovely send-off. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Such kindness and care are rare to find – highly recommend staying here!

Snow Palace Nozawa, que está a 21 km de Ryuoo Ski Park y a 32 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani, ofrece habitaciones en Nozawa Onsen. * Superb view from the common area * tatami mat with normal bed * DIY breakfast with provided bread/eggs/jam was fantastic * Rooms were warm and had enough space for luggage * complimentary ride to the ski slopes + they even offered a ride with our luggage to our following accommodation in Nozawa (would have preferred to stay here if they had availability)

白馬の黒馬 DarkHorse @Hakuba está en Hakuba, a 16 km de Estación de esquí Tsugaike Kogen, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y bar. Has a great owner and staff. Cozy atmosphere, nice breakfast and the people… Enjoyed every minute.
