馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou encontra-se em Nakatsugawa, a menos de 1 km de Toson Memorial Museum, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um... 熱海温泉 実の別荘 encontra-se em Atami, a 19 minutos a pé de Atami Sun Beach e a 27 km de Estação Ferroviária Hakone-Yumoto. The hosts were fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese, which made it possible for us to relax and feel our needs were understood. The place is beautifully outfitted, spotlessly clean, and very convenient.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Localização ótima, 10 minutos andando da estação de trem e também 10 minutos das principais atrações. A decoração do hostel é linda, o ambiente é agradável e o staff é muito prestativo. Apesar de não servir café da manhã, o hostel tem também um café (maravilhoso, por sinal)! Amamos ficar no hostel mesmo que por um dia só e pretendo voltar. O quarto “em estilo tradicional japonês” é bem espaço e a cama confortável.

I'm afraid my words will not be enough to express how much I loved my stay here. Kenさん and Yukiさん were extremely welcoming. I enjoyed my conversations with them, learning about Magome-juku, umeshu, and many other things despite my very lacking Japanese skills. When it was time for me to leave and embark on my hike to Tsumago-juku, they ran after me to give me a bottle of iced water to help me with the summer heat. I almost teared up from their kindness. I was on a solo trip for my birthday and they gave me the most memorable moment of my trip. Other things to note about this guesthouse: Room: I'm not sure about the other rooms but I secured the best one. It had an amazing view of Magome-juku. There is only a futon but it was very comfortable. The room is air-conditioned and although not sound-proof, Magome is quiet and you can hear the peaceful sounds of water flowing through the canals at night. Shared spaces: The shared spaces include the dining area, living area, toilets, showers, and an indoor bath. There is also a laundry area which you can use for a small fee (about 500 yen if I'm not mistaken). Reception is not 24/7 and the lights out is at 10pm I think. The shared spaces are not only clean, but they're also beautifully designed! Lots of dried flowers as decoration. Meals: You can opt to have dinner and breakfast here again for a small fee. Dinner is Indian curry and let me just say-- it was delicious! I had the spicy chicken keema, although personally I wish it was a bit spicier. The homemade yogurt was simply amazing. Breakfast is a simple spread of eggs, bread, yogurt, cereals, a variety of fruits, and drinks such as homemade juice and coffee from the coffee shop down the street. This was again very good and I enjoyed it more than I expected. I feel like Magome is a one-time destination because of its size, but I definitely want to come back and stay at sakanomichi again!

富士山を眺められる宿 ゲストハウス花水木 encontra-se em Nishikatsuracho, a 7,7 km de Terras Altas Fujikyu e a 11 km de Lago Kawaguchi. Com uma vista incrível do monte Fuji, o local é muito tradicional com uma limpeza impecável - você realmente se sente no Japão. Apesar de ser um pouco mais afastado do centro, vale muito a pena porque o bairro é maravilhoso e o hóspede nos buscou e levou na estação o que tornou tudo mais fácil. Definitivamente vale muito a pena!

A cerca de 21 km de Ryuoo Ski Park e a 32 km de Parque dos Macacos Jigokudani, Snow Palace Nozawa apresenta quartos em Nozawa Onsen. Nice, clean, and competitively priced. It was only a 10 to 15 min walk to the slopes. I would def stay here again!

The staff was absolutely lovely. They keep the shared kitchen stocked with eggs and they gift you bread and drinks in the room refrigerator. They were so nice and my family had a lot of fun with the numerous dinosaur toys, puzzles, and decorations.

ワールドカリーの館 すぱいすろーど situa-se em Matsukawa, a 24 km de Museu Japan Ukiyo-e, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this
