Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

One of the best moments of my trip was waking up after a long day of cycling, and seeing the port sea view from my room. Utterly brilliant. Also Setoda is a really small but beautiful port village, ideal for half a day or a short stay while you are doing the Shinamami Kaido cycling path.

The friendly host explained everything we needed to know about the house. I had a couple questions and the host was quick to respond. The location is convenient for people who do not have a car. Me and my daughter were on this island on a cycling trip. After returning our bikes at Kamiura rental cycle terminal we took the bus. The house is a 3km ride away (two bus stops). The bus stop (Tatara no Sato 多々羅の里) is right in front of the guest house which was convenient. There aren’t many buses though so be sure to check the timetable if you want to ride the bus. The house itself is comfortable, incredibly clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. Overall we had a great stay! Thank you for everything.

Fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom as shared amenities. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is quite out of the way, but the host made sure to pick us up from the ferry and had bikes available to rent.

Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.

The hosts were super nice, and major Conan fans, so we really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip! Thank you for everything!
