Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

We biked there and there were bike racks for bicycles. The common space was very enjoyable, they also have a free drink bar that provides coffee and tee; and even tho not from the dorm room, the view in the morning was really nice.

Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー encontra-se em Onomichi, a 24 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, e apresenta acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. Very clean and spacious enough for 1 night during the Shimanami Kaido. Host was very friendly and also let us leave our bags while we enjoyed the town. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, ideal for anyone cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The area is peaceful and scenic, and it’s not too far from beautiful beaches and a local public bath, which was a great way to relax after a day of cycling while admiring the sunset. The host was very kind and welcoming, making our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

ゲストハウスみちしお localiza-se em Hikino e dispõe de um salão partilhado. Os quartos com ar condicionado providenciam vista do mar, secretária e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Very homely stay, almost like I was visiting my old parents house. It's a guest house with only 3 rooms, so it's quiet and private. Had very welcoming staff interactions and this is a great place to stay and explore the local islands from.

Pension Le Passage - Vacation STAY 11300v situa-se em Tottori, a 15 minutos a pé de Hakuto Beach, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. I would say a lot of words of appreciation for real Japanese omotenashi. The owner met us on the railway station and picked up (it was very late and we didn’t even expect to get easily to the hotel). Japanese-style breakfast, I already miss it so much. It was not only tasty but heartwarming. We discovered a lot of guides about Tottori (including Russian language). We laughed a lot and had really amazing adventures in Tottori. I highly recommend this place 🫶

滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado localiza-se em Kurashiki, a 8,6 km de Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park e 10 km de Tanematsuyama Park, e dispõe de quartos com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. This was a beautiful room, very attractive design, spacious and in a perfect area for touring Kurashiki. It is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. Check in was easy. Good communication with hosts, and restaurant recommendations, which was helpful. It’s not a hotel per se, and so no meals included but they provided a basket of fruit and baked goods daily and coffee, so that was perfect for breakfast. It was all we needed. The seating area has a good view over the canal so you could not be better situated.

Minpaku Yorozuya - Vacation STAY 12905 situa-se em Kurayoshi, a 49 km de Tottori Sand Dunes, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. Really comfortable place and you can walk to all Conan attractions. Best of all are the hosts who will do everything to make you and especially your kids have a great time. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, a hidden gem on island Miyajima! It was so nice to spend a night in a real Japanese house! Owner was really friendly, breakfast was delicious, we loved every minute we spent there!

OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya situa-se em Imabari, a 30 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Stayed as a pitstop while doing the Shimanami Kaido. Modernised traditional Japanese house. Staff was extremely welcoming and even wrote our name in Kanji. The house itself is clean, and there's even a free washing machine and dryer for use. For what we paid, we got great value and would definitely stay here again if doing the Shimanami Kaido or even just to visit the island.
