Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

Free to use Kitchen has a time limit (but that's a given because of the trouble it'll take to clean and disinfect the cutlery), bicycles were also free to use.

Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー encontra-se em Onomichi, a 24 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, e apresenta acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. I did an overnight stop during Shimanami Kaido and enjoyed my stay with Onzo. Amenities were provided (toothbrush, floss, hairbrush, shampoo,…) which is nice so you don’t have to carry on the bike. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Very good value for money

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. The hosts were adorable and the place was welcoming and comfortable. I especially loved the “summer blanket.” Would happily stay again.

I truly enjoyed my recent stay at Guest House Michishio! Koji's hospitality was perfect - attentive yet unobtrusive, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean and quiet, offering a truly relaxing experience, especially during my 10-day stay. I can't wait to return soon!

Pension Le Passage - Vacation STAY 11300v situa-se em Tottori, a 15 minutos a pé de Hakuto Beach, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. Quiet charming inn along the ocean front. It’s not far from attractions and restaurants, accessible by car.

滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado localiza-se em Kurashiki, a 8,6 km de Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park e 10 km de Tanematsuyama Park, e dispõe de quartos com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. The most beautiful, quiet Japanese house for first time travellers! Facilities were great and location was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of cafes and local stores (ceramic stores) surrounding hotel which was awesome for exploring. Although it is out of Okayama, staying in Kurashiki was much better to get away from busy crowds. Highly recommended, worth the money!!

Minpaku Yorozuya - Vacation STAY 12905 situa-se em Kurayoshi, a 49 km de Tottori Sand Dunes, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. It was a great experience to stay at Minpaku Yorozuya. It was an interesting experience to live like a local in a tatami room. The owners of the property are very nice and hospitable people. In the owners' house, you can see a large collection of things related to the famous anime "Detective Conan". In addition, the respected owner showed us very beautiful lamps that he makes himself, and in the evening the owners kindly offered us to try a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with a sensei with the opportunity to make our own green tea. They also treated us to delicious baked sweet potatoes and gave us souvenirs related to the anime. It was very nice. At Yura Station, where the property is located, there are many interesting locations dedicated to the anime Detective Conan. If you are a fan of this anime, or just interested in Japanese culture and traditions, you should definitely stay at this friendly house.

A cerca de 2,4 km de Tsutsumigaura Beach e a 4 minutos a pé de Pagode de Cinco Andares, HEM'S HOTEL 1日1組限定 new apresenta quartos com ar condicionado e casa de banho privada em Miyajima. Perfect location, a hidden gem on island Miyajima! It was so nice to spend a night in a real Japanese house! Owner was really friendly, breakfast was delicious, we loved every minute we spent there!

OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya situa-se em Imabari, a 30 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Stayed as a pitstop while doing the Shimanami Kaido. Modernised traditional Japanese house. Staff was extremely welcoming and even wrote our name in Kanji. The house itself is clean, and there's even a free washing machine and dryer for use. For what we paid, we got great value and would definitely stay here again if doing the Shimanami Kaido or even just to visit the island.
