Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

Free to use Kitchen has a time limit (but that's a given because of the trouble it'll take to clean and disinfect the cutlery), bicycles were also free to use.

Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー se găsește în Onomichi, la 24 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, și are WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. I did an overnight stop during Shimanami Kaido and enjoyed my stay with Onzo. Amenities were provided (toothbrush, floss, hairbrush, shampoo,…) which is nice so you don’t have to carry on the bike. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Very good value for money

The couple that owns the place is super nice and hospitable. The guesthouse is well located in the middle of the Shimanami Kaido just a little bit off the blue line. Everything is clean and well organized, the room was super comfortable which was much needed after a long day of cycling. Really recommend to stay here if you’re doing the cycle!

I truly enjoyed my recent stay at Guest House Michishio! Koji's hospitality was perfect - attentive yet unobtrusive, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean and quiet, offering a truly relaxing experience, especially during my 10-day stay. I can't wait to return soon!

Pension Le Passage - Vacation STAY 11300v se găsește în Tottori, la 15 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Hakuto, și oferă WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Quiet charming inn along the ocean front. It’s not far from attractions and restaurants, accessible by car.

滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado se găsește în Kurashiki, la aproximativ 3 minute de mers pe jos de Grădina Sankei-en și la 8,6 km de Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park, și oferă camere cu... The most beautiful, quiet Japanese house for first time travellers! Facilities were great and location was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of cafes and local stores (ceramic stores) surrounding hotel which was awesome for exploring. Although it is out of Okayama, staying in Kurashiki was much better to get away from busy crowds. Highly recommended, worth the money!!

This dedication to the beloved anime series created a unique atmosphere, making us feel like we were stepping into a world straight out of the manga. Every corner presented a new Conan-themed surprise, from life-sized statues to themed cafes. The town's dedication also attracted fellow Conan fans from around the world, creating a sense of community and shared passion. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay in Conan town to anyone seeking a unique and memorable vacation experience. The town's warmth, its vibrant Conan culture, and its exceptional hospitality will leave you feeling welcomed, entertained, and utterly charmed.

HEM'S HOTEL 1日1組限定 new se află în Miyajima, la 2,4 km de Plaja Tsutsumigaura și la 4 minute de mers pe jos de Pagoda cu 5 nivele, și are WiFi gratuit și o grădină. Perfect location, a hidden gem on island Miyajima! It was so nice to spend a night in a real Japanese house! Owner was really friendly, breakfast was delicious, we loved every minute we spent there!

OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya se găsește în Imabari, la 30 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, și oferă o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. Stayed as a pitstop while doing the Shimanami Kaido. Modernised traditional Japanese house. Staff was extremely welcoming and even wrote our name in Kanji. The house itself is clean, and there's even a free washing machine and dryer for use. For what we paid, we got great value and would definitely stay here again if doing the Shimanami Kaido or even just to visit the island.
