The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again

Absolutely the highlight of my trip. And funny enough, there was no other guests so I had the whole place to myself! The town is very cute and the house is just incredible. It had everything a person could ask for in an accommodation. Everything works perfectly. The design is very beautiful. The house is even more beautiful in real life. I will never forget it. I think I told Assi how much I loved it too many times :) Assi was the most helpful host, he was very friendly, curious to know about my trip, he even picked me up from the station when I unfortunately missed the train. And dropped me off to the bus stop when I wanted to visit the near village. I hope to visit it again in future. Thank you again, thank you very much.
