A few minutes walking from the train station and others touristic places, the location it's so convenient. The common spaces have many Ghibli stuff as decoration, so at some point you feel like you are in a friend's home. Staff are so kind and helpful when we need anything. Bunks has curtains so we have privacy at the dormitory. There is free coffee for everyone! This is the second time I get to Takayama and I loved it as the first time and the accommodation was outstanding for me.

They have a precious house in a privileged location with amazing facilities. They were keen to help with anything we needed and were proactive on helping us with our travel plans. The food is also something worth mentioning, they cook delicious meals with locally produced products.

Perfect location, the host was very kind and friendly. The dinner at the guesthouse was one of the best we've had so far in Japan (one of the dishes was wild boar and venison). The guesthouse is very spacious and right in the middle of the village.

Full of antiques and curios, and very near the station. The bakery next door opens at 8am for the best breakfast, don’t miss it. The supermarket opens at 10am till 6pm and there aren’t many restaurants around :-). Gold base to explore the Nasenko trail as you can do day trips, I wish we had done that instead of moving everyday, you can take the train to the stations where the tracks start.

The bathtub is well equipped with spa facilities. The kitchen is well-stocked with condiments from olive oil to soy sauce for real cooking. My family purchased quality beef from the nearby supermarkets and cooked our own wagyu. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in the outskirts of nagoya.

Love her family’s hospitality. Very peaceful and relaxing.
