The proximity of the guest house was very close to the station, and the host and hostess, Funa and Kimi were extremely kind and helpful. The introduction to their guest house was very thoroughly, and made sure everyone was warm after traveling through the winter snow and temperature. Not only were the hosts very friendly and willing to chat, but they even provided and help make reservations at recommended restaurants! When I asked where I could find a furoshiki I could purchase for a souvenir, Kimi kindly offered one she had for me to take home as a souvenir! I had a great time chatting with them while waiting for my train to the next destination. They were even helping some other guests with translation of medical documents due to an injury received while skiing. Funa and Kimi are the perfect host to anyone staying in Otaru! I stayed in the Japanese style room and wish I could have stayed longer. Next time I go to Otaru, there's no doubt I'll be staying with them again!

We had an amazing stay at the place. The hosts were charming and made us feel at home. The hostess made us an amazing ramen soup for dinner and the breakfast was also excellent. Highly recommended!

Nằm ở Sapporo, cách Ga Sapporo 5.3 km và Ga Shin-Sapporo 11 km, Guesthouse Erimo Apartment cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có Wi-Fi miễn phí và phòng chờ chung. Erimo Apartments I'm 78 years old, and in all my traveling (many places in the world) I have NEVER come across a more gracious, helpful,  and generous host than Takashi Soda. His help to sort out an accommodation problem at another venue for other members of our group, and driving us to catch a bus at short notice was way above 'call of duty'. His accommodation at Erimo self contained studio units have everything you need and more. These are a typical Japanese living space, not big, but pack in so many facilities in a small space it amazes me. They are modern, and spotlessly clean. There is also a shared communal room. Very easy to get anywhere around Sapporo from here. Either long or short term. Hiragishi subway station & the full supermarket (open 09 to 23.30) next to it are a 4 minute walk, a 7/11 is a 2 minute walk away.  Takashi speaks quite reasonable English. I highly recommended this place to stay.

What an amazing place to stay. Kanji and Marilyn made this place feel like home: Their warmth and hospitality (and amazing sense of humor) were the highlights of this place. As well as the incredible food, beautiful views, a comfortable room, that had everything you needed! Just perfect! Every detail is thought of at this beautiful place!

Tọa lạc ở Sapporo, cách Otarushi Zenibako City Center 7.7 km, Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có Wi-Fi miễn phí và chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí. We had an amazing breakfast! It was a bit cold in the mornings but didn't take away from the experience much. The owner was so kind and helpful and even invited us to karaoke.

The host was very kind and attentive, I enjoyed the conversations, the recommendations and the welcome we experienced during our stay. Thank you so much, I hope to come back one day. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. The view on the lake is most lovely.

Nằm ở Otaru, cách Ga Otaru chưa đến 1 km, Opopo home 竜宮店 nhìn ra núi. Ngoài Wi-Fi miễn phí, guest house 1 sao này còn cung cấp phòng chờ chung và phòng giữ hành lý. Everything! Owners are very friendly, amazing and helpful. Rooms are so nice and cozy. Common area is lovely and cute too. Quite area, easily accessible to train station n the canal area. I would love to stay longer but timing doesn't allowed. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Otaru. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!!
