I was warmly welcomed by the owners and they made me feel right at home! The gave me some great recommendations and helped me with whatever I needed. They had an amazing breakfast and the bed was lovely! I have no complaints at all! This was definitely one of my better stays in my 1,5 month in Japan!

Japanese Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo (Female Only) har en god beliggenhed i Kinosaki Onsen-distriktet i Toyooka. A traditional house, very cozy and clean, close to the main street. The hosts were super kind and welcoming (they even helped me tie the kimono I was given to visit the onsen) The whole experience was soothing and relaxing, and I was sad I only got to stay one night in the end.

The location of the property is within walking distance to the attraction places. Unless you have car, 10 to 20 minutes walking distance is acceptable. The property itself is well equipped and you just bring in your stuff and can stay there for a short break like your home. The property itself is a detached single story traditional house, and is a live show case about local Japanese culture. The owner also displays promotion materials about the local environs which suitable for new comer like us in the local community. The property is a quiet place. Having said that, depends on your requirement of "quiet", the property is adjoining to a main county road which means cars are passing through day and night, though not frequent. The owner is a nice gentleman and willing at all time to give you a helping hand in providing advices in the local community such as traveling, dining and sight seeing. To a traveler, a clean, comfort and safe place to stay is essential to release of uncertainty. The property and the owner do this well.
