The house is beautiful, very clean, carefully decorated with attention to every detail. We slept in the private room upstairs, which was cosy and comfortable. Nina is a very welcoming person, who makes you feel at ease, always available and looking after you. She speaks English very well, which made our conversations flow smoothly. Activities are organized in the evenings on various themes (calligraphy, origami...). An opportunity to discuss with other travelers, and also with Masaki, who took the time to share with us some facts about Japanese culture and history. Nina offers a breakfast on demand in the morning (toast with cheese, ham and egg) with tea or coffee, and it's excellent. The guesthouse is very well located, close to points of interest and a 10-minute walk from Kanazawa station. We wish we could have stayed longer, we enjoyed our stay so much!

The bunk beds room was not exactly charming unfortunately, and the beds did not have individual lights or plugs. I think this might be rented as an entire home moving forward, I was the first guest. Still it would be good to have lights in the bedroom, and more plugs! Especially near the bed.
