This was such a surprise. It’s very spacious and has the best water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. I hope that I will stay again for several nights when I return. It’s a great location and wonderful value especially if you can book a weekend. The home was spotless and the owner let us store luggage at his home after checkout so we could explore the island. Can’t recommend this enough. There is a great okonomiyaki restaurant next door and an Italian eatery down the street for dinner. Remember to bring cash because that’s what the owner requires up front for your stay.

Just everything we were looking for - something authentic, away from tourists and big cities. The town and its people are also very welcoming.

The house itself was an authentic countryside Japanese home, which added to the charm of our experience. A pleasant surprise was the availability of push bikes for free, making it easy to explore the area. The location was very convenient for visiting the major museums. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it!
