Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. We have the space, hostel rooms were done really well, Onsen's were wonderful, dining and living area were bring and welcoming and had everything you needed and more.

There is a kitchen so you can eat your meals at the guesthouse and don’t need to worry about finding food. They offer a shuttle to the nearest station and museum which was a great help as the guesthouse is a bit secluded in a quiet neighborhood. There are hiking trails nearby and would love to visit again and explore more of the area around the guesthouse.

Mana and Takahiro were sunny people, always smiling. Nao was quiet but so helpful to me to resolve my back problem by getting a futon for me. The other staff were very friendly and helpful as well. It's great to have youthful staff. One of the best kitchen I've encountered so far. Only suggestion is to use thicker mattresses. Great hostel!

The place is perfect for those who don't enjoy tourist vibe and want to have an authentic & peaceful experience. Various interesting neighborhood restaurants, a 7-11 and supermarkets, bus stops for major lines in walking distance. Mr. Nori can never bee more thoughtful. He knows well of the city and recommends useful info.
