Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Room was big and very comfortable. A beautiful view from the window if you are on the top floor. Room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Staff was very friendly. The Onsen baths are small but beautiful. They were not crowded when we visited (early June). Hotel was very quiet. Convenience stores a few metres away.

Good food and nice to meet people. In the morning Saki made us the most delicious coffee roasted by the owner. There is also a cute coffee shop in a trailer just outside. The location is excellent. Close to the train and beside the open air gallery. The staff were all great but Saki really went over and above to help us plan our days and gave great recommendations for restaurants. We had a great stay.

Everything was neat and clean and the owner of the place offered us some treats to celebrate our honey moon! Mattress was the best I had in Japan. Shower was spacious. Really enjoyed everything.

Japanese Modern Inn Kamakura Rakuan Hanare---3min walk from Hase Station ligger i Kamakura, 1 minutters gang fra Kamakura Yuigahama Strand, og har en bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. The atmosphere was perfect, and despite booking a single one room it felt very spacious. Everything was spotless and the futon was very comfortable. Great aircon. I would love to stay here again! The location was perfect as well, walking distance to many things.

Super stay, very clean with fresh towels daily. Incredibly friendly owners. I honestly feel this place is a hidden gem. The beach is minutes away and a sunset Mount Fuji view is beyond epic.

The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

A traditional home situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes away from train station. There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.
