The host was so kind and generous that I felt right at home. I really enjoyed my stay!

It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨

Nice room in traditional style. Lovely small onsen-like bathroom. Friendly owner provided transfer from nearest station. Gave good advice how to get to attractions we wanted to visit.

Located around 40 km from Rinno-ji Temple, the hostel with free WiFi is also 40 km away from Futarasan Shrine. The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Though we speak only a bit since we stayed for just the night, Mr Kageyama was probably the nicest host we had in Japan, contacting us after we left to check out our stay was good and giving us recomendations were to go. It is a honest traditional japanese house, not a hotel that pretends to be one, so is nice staying in the real deal. Really close to the train station as well

The owner was super friendly. The place was super clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. Overall was a very nice place. Even some snacks are offer for free which was a nice touch :)
