Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Beautiful ryokan with a private onsen. Perfect location. We had beautiful room with everything we needed and with a beautiful view. The staff was very kind and helpful. I wanted especially thank to the guy that carried our (heavy) suitcases and then called the “car romance” and rescheduled our train. :-) Happy New Year, team !

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. It looks very new and clean. It's a short walk from Yuigahama station and close to Hasedera and Kotoku-in. I booked this place extremely last minute but the host was very accommodating and quick with their response. The host was so kind and generous that I felt right at home. I really enjoyed my stay!

Set in Nikko, COZY Inn Free Shuttle service is a recently renovated accommodation, 12 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 14 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The air-conditioned accommodation is 11 km from Nikko Station, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The guest house features a hot tub and a shared kitchen. The host is very welcoming. It's a pleasure to talk to him, ask him about your plans or ask him to book a restaurant or call remote onsen. He recommended us the best restaurant for dinner we have ever had in Japan. It's just a 10-minute walk. What a treat. The room is in an older house, which is the traditional Japanese house. You share a bathroom and toilet with other guests (max 4 people share this, so that is fine). The room is great, spacious, and the air conditioning works superb. We came by car, but the host is willing to pick you up and drive you to your next destination. The host speaks English very well. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Situated within 38 km of Nikko Station and 38 km of Tobu Nikko Station, Guesthouse Kincha 駅東口 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Utsunomiya. Located around 40 km from Rinno-ji Temple, the hostel with free WiFi is also 40 km away from Futarasan Shrine. The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Though we speak only a bit since we stayed for just the night, Mr Kageyama was probably the nicest host we had in Japan, contacting us after we left to check out our stay was good and giving us recomendations were to go. It is a honest traditional japanese house, not a hotel that pretends to be one, so is nice staying in the real deal. Really close to the train station as well

7.7 km from Nikko Station, Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ is a recently renovated property set in Nikko and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property is located 8.1 km from Tobu Nikko Station, 10 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine and 27 km from Kegon Falls. Rinno-ji Temple is 10 km away and Futarasan Shrine is 11 km from the guest house. Very clean, the host is extremely nice and helpful. Edo Wonderland and Nikko shrines are around 1 hour with train. Train stations are around 10-15mins walk from the property.

At the guest house, each unit is equipped with a wardrobe. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. This was our favourite accommodation in Japan. It's so clean and easy to access. They have bikes free to use and the price is amazing. We loved our stay here so much and their attention to detail. They give you a little bag to welcome you with sweets and treats. Also the room with the futon beds is also a great way to start your trip in Japan. You sleep on a tamati mat too. Thank you so much Ici Japon Village if we are ever back in Tokyo we will stay here ❤️😍
