Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. We had a blast. The place was clean and beautiful, the staff was kind and helpful. We stayed in the traditional room with a stunning view. The onsen was so much fun, both the indoor and otdoor. I can only recommend it.

Very relaxing place and offers a very nice view even if it's raining. Really good food and very friendly stuff. The onsen is fantastic. It is a bit of a hike from the nearest bust stop so make sure you travel light unless you have no option.

Kamakura no Nikki is located in Kamakura, 500 metres from Yuigahama Beach, 2.3 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, as well as 22 km from Sankeien. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. The hotel is new and very neat, rooms have everything you need and also there is a shared kitchen on 2nd floor which everyone can use and it's always clean, it also has a coffee machine you can use.

At the guest house, units have bed linen and towels. Ken-ken was a wonderful host. I only stayed for one night to be close to Nokogiri Mt. for hiking, but Ken-ken was extremely helpful and generous while I was there. One of my favorite memories from my two week trip to Japan will be my stay in this little town of Hota, much thanks to Ken-ken's hospitality and guidance for places to visit and eat at while I stayed. He recommended the cutest izakaya when I told him I was looking for dinner and a few beers called Rest Inn Wassup! The owner and cook there were so nice, and we had a good time visiting even though we were mostly speaking through Google Translate. Please don't be afraid to visit this little town if you want to see some authentic Japanese small-town life and great hiking. I was able to get around fairly easily, but be aware the public transportation is limited and it can get dark in the neighborhood at night. Rest assured, though, if you stay with Ken-ken, he will make your stay comfortable and worthwhile!

This 3-star guest house offers luggage storage space and a shared lounge. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot spring bath and a shared kitchen. The hot spring is legendary! Must try! Better than anyone I tried before in Japan!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 11 km from Nikko Station, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The guest house features a hot tub and a shared kitchen. The place is really special! The host is super nice and helpful. While staying at Mr. Hiro’s place you can feel the real Japan. The whole place was very clean and there was a cozy onsen inside. We highway recommend it!

This was one of the best guesthouses I’ve been to in Japan, and I can’t wait to visit it once more.

The property is located 8.1 km from Tobu Nikko Station, 10 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine and 27 km from Kegon Falls. Rinno-ji Temple is 10 km away and Futarasan Shrine is 11 km from the guest house. The owner was super friendly. The place was super clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. Overall was a very nice place. Even some snacks are offer for free which was a nice touch :)
