We were able to catch up with a little work as well as get a great night's sleep. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful and there were many shops nearby. Tomaruku was an excellent choice and we would love to return one day in the near future.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! The owner is really sweet and welcoming 💗 everything was extremely clean and comfortable and it was in a nice quiet location. Felt like being at home! With laundry, a well supplied kitchen, and even a comfy living room It’s a perfect spot for Pilgrims! But I think everybody else would love it too

This 2-star hotel offers a shared kitchen, room service and free WiFi. The hotel provides a hot tub and luggage storage space. I picked this place last minute on a motorcycle tour of Shikoku. The family that runs this place is wonderful. They're very friendly and helpful and know the area well. The room and bed were comfortable, the Family Mart next door was convenient, and the breakfast provided was oishii!

Guests at the guest house can make the most of yoga classes offered on-site. The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and bike hire is available at Guesthouse boro-ya. Outdoor play equipment is also available for guests at the accommodation. Yancy was incredibly friendly and helpful! Kids loved the chicken coop, yuzu tree, and fire pit. There were a lot of cute touches around the house! It was the perfect mountain escape for our family!

The host is the nicest owner you could ever meet, so friendly, so willing to help and a good linguist too. I cannot thank him enough for the kind welcome and advice on where to cycle next. The house is much bigger than the photos show with really cool lounging about spaces all over! Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!

The common space is also great for hanging out and I had a fun night with the staff and other guests. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night, but I'll definitely come again and stay much longer!

Ashizuri Underwater Aquarium is 16 km from the guest house and Tosa Seinan Daikibo Park Wampaku Hiroba is 29 km away. I had a good night's rest in this Guest House in Iburi, after a long hiking trek from Shimanto City. The bed was comfortable with plenty of room for my things and the facilities were neat and clean. The shared area had a homely feel to it with free hot drinks provided. Also a bar for Alcohol Drinks. No shops in the immediate area however I believe Dinner and Breakfast can be provided on request (I did not partake). I am doing the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage and as it turned out, it was the ideal spot from which to visit Temple 38, Kongōfukuji, down the coast to Cape Ashizuri. A long trek there and back the other side to TosaShimuzu (about 15 mins away by bus) was just about doable in a day. By bicycle would definitely be easier/faster as it is relatively flat. The route has stunning Coastal Views and the Temple is impressive. The Guest House owner was friendly and kind and stored my heavy rucksack for the day so that I could travel light. Price was great value too, especially so close after Golden Week.

To stay with the young couple host was great, picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the bus station each day to do our excursions. Surrounded by farm land & greenery! Are dinner together and chatted in the evenings. Noah the dog is very cute too 😁
