Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. It's a great locating in a quiet street. The guesthouse itself is so warm and cozy, and the ability to have a private bathroom in a traditionally laid out inn was great.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Gion district and within walking distance of some of Kyoto’s most beautiful spots. There’s also a bus stop just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The hotel itself feels very new, and our room was super spacious for Japanese standards. Everything was spotless, which is always my top priority. We arrived about an hour and a half before check-in, and the staff kindly let us know our room was already ready. They allowed us to check in early at no extra charge, which made a huge difference for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return! :)

She went above and beyond and is absolutely delightful. Great value for money as well. The room was pleasant with enough space, and the futons and pillows were soft. The location is right next to Kiyomizudera with Gion and several other temples in walking distance. I have nothing negative to say about this booking

Beautiful traditional japanese guesthouse just on the periphery of Gion district. On busy main road but very quiet inside with bedroom looking out on pretty garden. The owner was so charming and helpful and spoke very good English. Would.highlybrecommend the breakfast both Japanese and western style were fabulous. Really good local.restaurants nearby.

My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at Rokkon Guest House, and absolutely loved the experience. Hostess Kayoko is wonderful – incredibly welcoming, friendly, cheerful and helpful. Each homemade, Japanese-style breakfast she provided (along with a detailed description of each food item in English) was a delight. We also enjoyed tasting the different types of teas and sweets she left in our room each afternoon. The guesthouse has been beautifully renovated with great care for the details. Our upper room was spacious and included a dining table, two comfortable beds, another seating area and a small stove for warmth (which we did not need to use in November). The room had its own bathroom and shower, both very clean. The guesthouse’s location is fantastic, walking distance to the Karasuma subway line, plenty of great restaurants, Nishiki Market and Nijo Castle. If you are looking for a traditional lodging experience in Kyoto with a truly lovely hostess who gives her guests personal attention, I highly recommend Rokkon Guest House.

遥華-Haruka House nằm tại vị trí thuận tiện ở Kyoto, có khu vườn, Wi-Fi miễn phí và sân hiên. This was an absolutely magnificent stay with the best amenities and support anyone could've asked for. Haruka and her husband were immensely helpful and attentive, going above and beyond in giving us tips and guidance, and always keeping us supplied with amenities. The house had more amenities than I've seen anywhere else - in addition to towels and linens, there was also shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and even makeup remover. We didn't use the kitchen very much as we were out and about a lot, but there were lots of spices and basic cooking supplies available, and we appreciated the toaster oven and coffee maker a lot. The bed was beautifully comfortable and soft, as were the pillows and comforters. The whole house was very clean and the tiny garden instilled a nice sense of calm, while at the same time we were very close to the metro station, allowing us to get around easily every day. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, as well as a vending machine right outside the house. We've never felt more at home anywhere else.
