I never experienced such a high standard on facilities, not even in famous hotels! Sharing the bathroom was not a problem at all as it's kept extremely clean. The location is just perfect! Linda is extremely attentive, kind and responsible, she clearly represents the welcoming and educated character of Japanese people! If you find this gem available, don't waste your time looking for alternatives!

Location of the guest house is also a benefit - very close to both Nijo Castle and Imperial Palace.

Cleanliness 100% Haruka and Ryoma are so kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. Location is also very convenient with Restaurants and Mini-Marts nearby and also the Hankyo Line within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!!

The hosts were so nice and made everything feel easy while we were there. We just needed one more night in Kyoto and this place was so much better than the first place we spent most of our time. The room was small, but just what we needed. There was good tea and when we realized we had missed printing a ticket that required a hard copy they printed it for us quickly and made sure we had it right away. I loved the breakfast here. It was a nice mix of things and they let us sit in the larger room since no one was staying in it when we were there. We will for sure try to make it back to this location when we make it out to Japan again!

Toni the host was the the most friendly and cool dude I've met on my hostel adventures, he was great just to chat to but super helpful with advice and help with info about kyoto! The area is quiet which is nice and also close to everything you need.
