Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). The house and the facilities were amazing. I had to admit that I did not have the chance to enjoy them as they should due to my travel schedule, but next time I come to Japan on holidays I will spend at least a couple of nights here. Also the staff was very friendly.

You have the entire place ro yourself, it's incredibly traditional in its style, the beds were very comfortable and the location whilst a small walk from the ferry terminal at Miyujima is awesome. Oh the breakfast was superb too, a mix of simplicity and tradition and a brilliant host too
