Exceptionally helpful staff! Even though it's a bit of a walk to the main gondola, the staff provided us with a ride every morning. Coming back home for the day it's only a few minutes from the slopes. Would certainly stay here again.

The hosts were amazing! They were really helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was unique as it was previously a cafe and it was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Lovely children's books and magazines.

The staff were eager to help with any request of ours, a short notice late checkout during the high season only came at a slight fee and they let us store ice cream in the freezer. The daily breakfast was delicious, with homegrown rice and their own family pickled Nozawana recipe. The rooms were a warm respite from the Nozawaonsen cold. Togoro is next to an onsen which we'd recommend using as much as possible. Togoro is next to one of the bus stops on the line from Iiyama station. We couldn't recommend Togoro more and wish the family which runs it all the best in their business.

Owner is welcoming and helpful. Everywhere in the house is clean. Room is comfortable. Very homey hostel. Not really walkable during winter but free pick-up from Iiyama station is available.

Boasting a garden, terrace, shared lounge and free WiFi, The Guest House Japan Hakuba is situated in Hakuba, 2.8 km from Hakuba Iwatake Ski Area and 16 km from Hakuba Cortina Ski Area. Possibly the best stay at a Guest House I have ever had...and I've been to a few! Incredible hospitality, we felt so treated. The team shuttle you around, make sure you're looked after and reserve the best restaurants in the area. The breakfast was really good, it was warm and cosy, and the baths were amazing after a long day skiing. Honestly can thank the guys enough for such a special and fantastic stay.
