I can’t say enough great things about this place. Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. The beds were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation.

The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

Location- just in front of Aeon mall, walking distance to nawate and nakamachi streets, the well equipped kitchen where we cooked black-haired nagano wagyu fillet purchased from Aeon mall( saved us a lot compared to eating it from restos) and most of all- the very warm welcome and care given to us by the owner. We will stay again!

The experience in the guesthouse was really nice! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the check-in process is super smooth and they have key "rules" that allow for a nicer stay. For example, the "quiet time" was after 10:00 pm so this allowed you to have a nicer stay. Facilities were clean and the owners have a restaurant downstairs, I had breakfast there and really liked it.

I really enjoyed the stay in 遊来る guest house, even though I didn’t get too much time to look around, as I arrived late, I had a chance to have a pleasant chat with the owners. Also they were very kind to send me one item that I accidentally left in the room after checking out. Thank you so much!

Boasting a garden, terrace, shared lounge and free WiFi, The Guest House Japan Hakuba is situated in Hakuba, 2.8 km from Hakuba Iwatake Ski Area and 16 km from Hakuba Cortina Ski Area. I had the best time at the Guest House, Chikako and Koji go above and beyond for their guests. The breakfast is amazing, the lodge itself is so cozy, I cannot recommend it enough!

Amazing hosts! Property was super well maintained and super clean, everything we can ask for, and most importantly super close to the gondola!

It was such a beautiful accomodation, felt very homely and relaxing. The owner is the nicest bloke I’ve met on this trip, and is an absolutely fantastic cook. I will be recommending this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.
