We arrived first day of the grand opening of the Snow Palace. Everything was pristine, customer service was stellar and we slept comfortably in our room. Easy shuttle access to Nagasaka Gondola or 10 min walk to the nearest lift. Certainly visit again next season.

The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

The building is newly renovated, so everything was in pristine condition, and also very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is also very nice being right next to the river, neighbouring the Matsumoto old town district. Nearby, you will find a bunch of stores, restaurants, izakayas, and even a mall. Matsumoto castle is also just a few minutes' walk from here. I'm a bit sad we didn't get to stay for longer.

Boasting a garden, terrace, shared lounge and free WiFi, The Guest House Japan Hakuba is situated in Hakuba, 2.8 km from Hakuba Iwatake Ski Area and 16 km from Hakuba Cortina Ski Area. everything is perfect. the shuttle can bring us to any ski resort and onsen that make our ski holiday very easy. I’ll come back.

Right next to the Nagasaka gondola, Tamayura is perfectly placed. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, and made us a simple but delicious breakfast (much better than many other ski lodges we have stayed in) each morning. The private baths were also excellent after a hard day’s skiing - I would recommend this place to everyone.

Yoshiro-san is an absolute legend so friendly and kind and accomodating. First of all get the breakfast at least once I hope you get the Udon! The location is a little out of town but he is more than happy for you to get around and there is an amazing onsen 8mins walk away. I could not recommend anywhere enough really convenient for the snow monkey park and to ski at shiga kogen. Thank you so much for the amazing stay Yoshiro!
