Beautiful property and the host was amazing. He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!

We only stayed one night and when we got to the house we were so sad we didn’t book longer!!! The host is so kind and clean! Our room was amazing, clean, the toilet and bathroom are modern - it’s a traditional but modern and warm house - and I loved the common area/living room. Everything we needed was provided, from tea to towels. It’s a great location for exploring the lower, less touristy parts of Japan, but simply beautiful!!!! shares Nara. This 2-star guest house offers luggage storage space and bicycle parking. The guest house features family rooms. Yoko-san makes the well located comfortable guesthouse top-knotch. She choose to have this and you can tell she is very passionate and informed about the area. Gave great recommendations and ready to help with anything you need. The place is a super nice experience to living in a traditional style house, while also having modern comforts. The women bunk beds were costume made for nice and spacey comfort. And location is perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood very close to the park. protip there’s a bike rental place 1 minute around the corner.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The location is really good, near to a bus stop that takes you to Nara park! Our accommodation was exceptional, the traditional house is cosy, tidy, clean and very comfortable. Mr. Shunju and Mike are very welcoming and nice people that provide you with information, recommendations and comforts that make the whole trip an unforgettable experience! I would definitely go back again at Naramachi Guesthouse for my next staying at Nara!

8.9 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, natomi宿 is located in Heguri and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This recently renovated guest house is located 11 km from Iwafune Shrine and 13 km from Nara Station. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

The air-conditioned guest house consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and slippers. Towels and bed linen are featured in the guest house. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
