Wow - such an incredible place to stay … just stunning and has absolutely everything you need and the most wonderful host! We had the best night’s sleep - the beds were so comfortable, the room was huge for 4 people and the shower had the best pressure!!! We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back - the area is absolutely stunning!

If you are looking for a nice, clean and affordable place in Nara, don’t hesitate ! It is at less than 10 min from the nearest train station and also convenient store. The place is a mix of typical Japanese house but with a + in confort ! I was very well received by the owner and I enjoyed my short stay there !

SLOW HOUSE NARA nằm ở Nara, cách Iwafune Shrine 19 km và Sân vận động Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium 22 km. Basically everything! The staffs were super nice and helpful Location was also nice, close to many restaurants. The room was perfectly clean and tidy.

It's a traditional house that is really close to the train station and to the main sights in Nara and at the same time is located in a quiet, residential area. I'm very sensitive to noise so this was perfect. Besides, Yoko, the owner, is such a wonderful host. She brings the guests together for tea so I was meeting new people every day. And she plays Japanese instruments beautifully!

We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
