Big kitchen with all you need, good public zones including a small garden, comfortable beds, breakfast is ok. There is a laundry machine and a dryer. The host is helpful and kind. You can leave lagguage before check in and after check out. Some reviewers complain about cracking noise - yes, this is old wooden house, it cracks, but it is very authentic and very clean.

Beautifully converted machiya in the centre of the historic district of Gojo. Absolutely incredible view over the river and mountains. The host gave perfect recommendations (go where he tells you, the Okonomiyaki and the cocktail bar were excellent) and even reserved places for us. A really exceptional and kind host who had thought of lots of ways to ensure the stay was perfect. Can’t say enough wonderful things, one of the best places we’ve stayed in Japan and definitely the best host. Only wish we’d stayed longer!

Guest House Oku là chỗ nghỉ 2 sao nằm ở Nara, cách Iwafune Shrine 18 km và Sân vận động Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium 22 km. Oku was the best host ever! I definitely recommend the stay and would come back if I could!

The host is extremely kind and very helpful. He helped us plan our visits in Nara and told us about special events happening in the city. He also explained the history of the house. The room looks exactly like the pictures and is spotless. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who wishes to experience a traditional Japanese stay.

Very nice traditional Japanese house, conveniently located near the metro that goes to Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. Staff was incredibly kind and even lent me their umbrella when it was raining. The place was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the futons were very comfortable. I also enjoyed the Japanese traditional breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!

Nara IROHA nằm ở Nara, cách Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church 24 km và Shijonawate City Museum of History and Folklore 24 km. This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
