I was here for one month and from the moment I arrived, Taiga and Akane made me feel at home. They are welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. Taiga’s English is limited, but he’s eager to improve and does his best to make every guest feel comfortable. The guesthouse itself is simple yet cozy. The private and dorm rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious, even featuring a small Japanese bathtub. There’s also a separate room with a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dryer, with plans to add a small kitchen soon. The outdoor sitting area, which I called the living room, is the heart of the place. Some days we worked on DIY projects, other days we had BBQs, chatted with guests, or just relaxed. It can be lively and peaceful in the same day, but it never gets boring. I spent countless hours talking with other guests, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Located in the quiet hills of Mount Yaedake, it’s the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. There’s space for yoga, bonfires, or just relaxing in a hammock under the trees. While the guesthouse is remote, you can bike or walk to local spots, and Nago City is only a 10-minute drive away. If you have a rental car, exploring the island is easy. This isn’t just a guesthouse—it’s a home. Whether you stay for a few days or weeks, you’ll love your time here. I’m grateful to have found this place, and I hope you will be too!

Guests at the guest house can enjoy cycling and fishing nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. It was amazing hotel The view left me speechless, and the staff were amazing—they took care of every little detail I asked for. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The owner is a father of two young children who were very sweet, funny and curious. There is a bar and a ping pong table, which is really cool. He runs the bar and also gives scuba lessons! I highly recommend diving with him at the Blue Cave, it was an unforgettable experience. The facilities are well-maintained and there's a bohemian vibe. Honestly, perfect for everyone. I was a solo traveler but I met a family of 5 there too. I wish I stayed longer, but I know I made a good friend, so I want to return one day. ありがとう、せいやさん！

Views, kitchens, cool historic home, big rooms, firm beds (typical Japanese style) , clean, lovely hosts & free range chickens. Very simple rooms & only 4. It had everything I needed. It is on a hill, with a 20 minute walk to the closest store, so definitely have a car. Also please be quiet …respecting quiet times in the morning & evenings, the walls are thin , TV & talking from your neighbors can easily be heard. Also on booking all 4 rooms are listed as one, so you’re not sure which one you’ll get… I would ask for the room at the end with the big ocean view if you want full sunset view, which also means full sun in the Summer. If you want more mountains & a cooler room ask for the one closest to the stairs. The middle rooms are actually the biggest & best for groups of 3 or more. All have fantastic views & private kitchens & baths.

Harumi was an amazing host, she made sure our stay in Okinawa was unforgettable. The house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable bed than here, even asked her about it :). Highly recommend, but make sure to rent a car to get there and around the island.

Host does cheap car rental (half the price of anything else) and free bike rental to travel around. Host cooked us local Okinawa style dinner twice and was very nice! Can’t recommend enough!
