Recently, I had the opportunity to stay in one of the best accommodations on the island, and I must say that the experience was absolutely fantastic! Right upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. From the very first moment, we felt at home.The owner willingly provided us with plenty of useful tips about places worth visiting—ranging from beautiful beaches to great restaurants and stunning viewpoints. His recommendations helped us discover hidden gems on the island that we would have otherwise overlooked.As for the accommodation, it was incredibly clean and well-maintained. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to focus solely on relaxation and enjoying our vacation.Additionally, the owner also assisted us in renting a car, which greatly facilitated our exploration of the island. His willingness to help and care made our visit even more enjoyable.Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great place to stay with fantastic service. Each unit is fitted with air conditioning, a shared bathroom and a well-fitted kitchen including a microwave, toaster, fridge and a stovetop. Kitchenware and kettle are also featured. At the guest house, the units come with bed linen and towels. The location is great, 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal, which I used quite often as I used Ishigaki mainly as a hub between the other islands. There are also lots of eating and drinking spots in walking distance, plus some convenience stores and a supermarket. Kishaba the owner was very kind and helpfull and even took me on a mango picking tour (only during mango season). The room was great and during the time of day when you’re usually at the hostel the aircon is free so it’s quite the relief from the heat when you get back. The shower facilities were nice and clean and the washing machine and dryer were quick and efficient. Overall I had a great stay and if I come back to Ishigaki I will definitely stay here again.
