I stayed there during tsunami warning so I spent almost my whole two days there. The Onsen near the guesthouse is marvellous, and we did a sauna session at one evening as well. We've had dinner together and on the first evening he offered us sashimi, because he's been out fishing and caught a nice one. Loved to practise my japanese skills - thank you for everything!

富士山も見える静かな港町用宗のオーシャンビューゲストハウスRomey ligger i Shizuoka, 13 km fra Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival, og har en have, en terrasse og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. Romey and his wife are incredibly kind and friendly people. We felt like we were visiting distant relatives. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Everything is clean, and the place is perfect for exploring a less touristy area. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Japan!

The owners were so kind and thoughtful, walking us through the checkin process and tour. They made us feel so at home. The room was amazing, we had Japanese style with tatami mats and slept on futons. I highly recommend staying in one of these rooms instead of the regular beds. You don’t have your private bathroom, but they’re right outside your door and the bath is lovely. Yukatas were also provided so we enjoyed the full experience. Lovely location. You do walk up a hill from the bus, but it’s worth the climb. Amazing views. Shirahama beach is beautiful, and there is a nice cafe/shop down the road where you can eat until 7pm. There’s also a seven eleven at the base of the hill. So beautiful, so much care, and it was like we had a nice home stay. Will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place with an amazing view. The rooms were lovely, well-equipped, and just a 10-minute walk from the beach. Katsu is a very kind, attentive, and helpful host – we truly appreciated his support and interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would warmly recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 er et 2-stjernet overnatningssted der ligger ved stranden i Higashiizu. Her er en have, privat strandområde og fælles opholdsområde. Vires vært var utrolig sød og hjælpsom. Vi glemte en taske ved afrejse, og han sørgede for at sende den afsted med posten med det samme! Meget gæstfri person, der sørger for at man har det godt.

Pension Izukogen ligger indenfor 29 km fra Shuzenji-templet og har restaurant, en have, en terrasse og en bar. Bed & breakfast-stedet har både gratis wi-fi og privat parkering. The house was conveniently located within walking distance to the JR station, the coast and a large local onsen. The host and hostess were very friendly, dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the house/room was very clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

You can also wahs your clothes for free!
