O J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse está situado em Hongu, a 10 minutos de carro ou a 70 minutos a pé da Rota de Peregrinação Kumano Kodo do Santuário de Kumano Hongu Taisha. Exatamente no dia que fiquei hospedada, tive um acidente na trilha de Komano Kodo e fiquei bastante machucada. A hospedagem foi avisada pela equipe do centro de turismo local e quando cheguei na hospedagem fui cuidadosamente recebida. O quarto era estilo japones, muito espaçoso e limpo. Espaço da cozinha e para comer muito bom e a localização excelente. Há onsen na hospedaria.

A 15 minutos a pé de Oka Park, Guesthouse RICO dispõe de acomodações de 2 estrelas em Wakayama e apresenta um salão partilhado, um terraço e um bar. The room was actually a studio flat. Everything you need is provided and very clean and the location was close to everything. On top of that the staff was really welcoming. If you stop at Wakayama it’s clearly the place to book your nights

The place is fully equipped, thoughtfully offering free sake and beer, with a clean and tidy environment and a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere.The location are excellent; it takes only 30 seconds to get from the Airbnb to the bus stop.

民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO situa-se em Tanabe, a 2 minutos a pé de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art e a 29 km de Sala de Espetáculos Kamitonda. The Minshuku is located in Chikatsuyu, which is a perfect location if you are hiking the Kumano Kodo. Whether you are taking two days from Tanabe or go all the way in one day, it is good to rest in Chikatsuyu. The Minshuku is very clean, with all the comfort of the room, kitchen and bathroom + shower. The best part is really Ike san hospitality, he can speak several languages and he is a great cook. From dinner to breakfast, including the lunch to go, everything he prepared was fully enjoyed. He is also very kind and overall interesting person to chat with. He definitely made our stay more comfortable.

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar encontra-se em Shingu, a 2,9 km de Praia de Ojigahama, e apresenta acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito e um bar. The room and facilities are clean. The location is very good. It’s near the bus stop and the convenience store. And if you wake up early like me and there’s no bus at that time, you still able walk to the Shingu station. The hostel has 4 bicycles to be borrowed with no charge. You can ride it around the city.

A cerca de 14 km de Hosshinmon Oji Shrine e a 21 km de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, Guest House Takiyoshi apresenta quartos com ar condicionado e casa de banho partilhada em Hongu. This hotel is run by the kindest couple, and I’m still thinking about how good dinner and breakfast were. Some of the best meals of my trip! You can also order lunch for the trail. The onsen was wonderful after a long day hiking. Room was on the 3rd floor and very quiet, it was compact and simple, very clean, with everything you might need, including yukatas for dinner and towels for the onsen. Shared toilets and sinks in the hall were never busy; there are two communal showers inside the onsen. I asked about laundry and they took mine and washed it for me within a few hours! The bus stop to Shingu or Hongu was a one-minute walk from the hotel. Yunomine Onsen was such a unique town, I feel lucky to have stayed here and enjoyed such great hospitality!

We took some time to chill at Taka-G with a busy schedule planned. Directions were easy to follow. Taka-G greatest us on arrival. Basic but just what we needed and the room had air-conditioning. We had a fab day at the beach. Taka-G was so kind and even dropped us off at the station. For a chill no frills stay, this is the place.
